They will make it hell!

I bought two recliners, was told it would take 3 weeks to deliver, I changed my mind, decided I didn't want to wait that long, I returned them, the salesman initially told us that we could return them and get our money back right away, instead as it turns out we would have to wait 7-10 days, 7-10 days came and went, when I called them, they said the reimbursement had not been processed, would be processed that Thursday, then cut Friday, be sent via courier to their store where I could pick it up Monday, on Monday morning I was told that the check had been sent to my home instead and that the accountant physically handed it to the postman, several days went by and I have not received my reimbursement, I have called them back and they said they will cut me another check but it will not be ready again for a few days! I insisted that they cut the check and I would pick it up, we will see if it is there when I get there. The worst part about all of this is the very bad customer service I received, every time I would call, no one knew what was going on or tried to resolve the issue, if it wasn't for the fact that I called every day, nothing would get done, and I have yet to see if I will be receiving my money. Don't buy anything cash from these guys; they will make it hell if you try to get your money back.

Ridiculous!

I purchase a computer from Circuit City on the 4th. Of June, 2005. Had problems with Windows XP not being compatible with my relatively new scanner and digital camera installing. Many of the games wouldn't even load, all kinds of errors popped up. After nearly two weeks of frustration I decided to return it for a refund. Well, when we returned it to the store I was informed there was a 15% restocking charge of 94.50 not refundable. Let me tell you I came unglued and told the clerk it was an F------ rip-off. Bet they would like to pay that ridiculous charge if Circuit City was on my side of the counter. Was fully intending to purchase a new digital camera instead and changed my mind about that. I purchased a new computer package Hewlett Packard) from Circuit City in March and found them to be okay at that time and purchased the extended service contact. Figuring I would stay with Hewlett Packard again being I wasn't replacing my monitor or printer, just to keep everything of the same company, was the only reason I again bought from Circuit City and Hewlett Packard. Don't know how companies can charge such ridiculous fees for nothing. I will probably never do business with Circuit City again; $94.50 is a lot of money to just throw away for nothing.

Home Depot- Rip Off!

I bought a vacuum cleaner from Home Depot. I had to return it because it was too heavy for the person I bought it for. I had all the paper work that came with the product as well as the original box that it came in. They were looking great, since it wasn't used much, just tried out. I lost the receipt, which I am still looking for. When I took the product to the store, they refuse to give me a credit, saying that their policy on returns has changed and that they do not give credit to products with out a receipt. See the link below to see their return policy. It states that "Returns
without a receipt: A store credit or credit to a Home Depot Commercial Credit Account may be issued based on the lowest selling price of the returned merchandise". So, is this a rip off or what?? I contacted their customer support and I will let you know of the outcome when I find out. Meanwhile, this is just one of the many bad interactions that I have had with Home Depot. If anybody has any stock in this company, better reconsider it.

Insane..

I called Sears to come and fix my Kenmore oven. The man came out informed me that it would be $300.00. I told him that I know how much the igniters are because I have replaced them before. (I thought the problem might be elsewhere is why I even called them) The igniters are $50.00 each. He said that they are $75.00 off of his truck. I said ok, that adds up to $150.00, do you mean to tell me that you are going to charge me $150.00 for the installation of the two igniters? He said that it is not by the hour, it is by the "job". I am a single parent mother. I have no training that involves appliance repair. I have changed both igniters in that same oven in a 30 minute time frame. I called the customer service center and was given the run around stating that the prices "per job" came from the Chicago office and that the $150.00 installation charge was correct. I could not get anyone to explain how they justify charging $150.00 for a job that a housewife mother, with no training, can do in 30 minutes. I informed them that I would never call Sears to fix anything at my house again. I will go buy the igniters at the parts store (not Sears) and fix it myself for $100.00. I understand markup and a business has to make money to stay open but this is insane.

Outrageous!

My son was charged an outrageous cell phone bill from cingular while he is serving in Iraq and trying to stay in contact with his family. The bill ended up being $6000 dollars and when him and his wife realized how much it was they contacted cingular asking them to work with them, being they don't have that kind of money. Cingular demanded immediate payment, they cut off their cell phones and charged them an extra $750 dollar fee for shut off charges and sent this to a collection agency. Now my son will be in trouble with his commander, being backed in to a corner his family will have to live on $30 a month because cingular does NOT support our troops and does not care what they do to the individual soldiers lives. I think they should have explained the plan for international was more, because my son said he had international coverage on his cell phone plan and cingular charges more apparently because there are no satellites in that area. This is an outrageous example of a company that is only out for the money. I suggested my son's wife go on national TV with this. I hope she does, because I know this will affect a lot of soldiers and their families. They are not getting rich over there and they still have families at home to support, and a lot of the wives don't work.

Thieves...

Sprint pc's now that they are the biggest cell phone company from buying Nextel they now are the biggest crooks. sprint pc's I was paying 60 dollars a month for 700 minutes day time and after 9 pm the phone calls are free, but let me point out, that they are criminals why, on my phone bill it says I was on the phone from 7:40 to 7:45 pm that's 5 minutes but they charge me for another out going call from 7:44 to 758 pm. how can I make a phone call at 744 when I am already on the phone? They put 2 charges of 66 minutes spread out on incoming phone calls. See with sprint they don't tell you the incoming phone numbers because what they do is they can add minutes with out you ever knowing it. So even if there was no incoming phone call your gone be billed for it. They only allow you to have it investigated if you have a police report but yet of course your not gonna have a police report but the police say it's no crime, for them to write a report. SPRINT IS CRIMINALS/ FROM 60 DOLLAR BILL ALL OF A SUDDEN MY PHONE BILL IS 150 DOLLARS FOR A PHONE I BARELY USE. What criminal's nasty criminals! SPRINT IS THE GIANT CRIMINAL OF AMERICA!THEY ARE THE BIGGEST CROOKS OF ANY AMERICAN CORP OFFICE IN U.S.A. they even charge you money to call your voice mail to listen to your messages, SPRINT PCS, THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY WITH A SMILE!

We the consumers actually have no choice..

Comcast Cable Company bills a month ahead in order to cut your cable off. They tell you, you are billed separately for Comcast phone services yet if your cable gets cut off your phone also get cut off. Example I paid the majority of my bill in November, leaving a balance of 79.00 dollars. I was sent a bill for 389.00 in December. after speaking on the phone to customer service and getting no relief I decided to speak to a supervisor who informed me that I owed 225.00 dollars so why does my bill reflect 389.00 well he said the balance does not go into effect until after January 7,2006. Well then why did you cut my cable off? I've owed more than this before and you did not cut off my cable. Why around the holidays you automatically cut off customers. Without a shut off notice he replied oh we don't have to send a shutoff notice the bill says if you don't pay we will cut off the cable. I said to him well I only owed 79.00 plus the new bill which totals 225.00 not 389.00 and you only add the extra month so you can cut the services off because the bill reflects a lie. Well he says your just gonna have to pay the 225.00 before we can restore your services. Then he says are you satisfied with our service today I really could not open my mouth for a moment. And I slowly replied no I was watching television because I knew I only owed 79.00 plus the new bill and all of a sudden the TV will not allow me to watch the program I was watching. he then says sorry ms and that was it I told him the only reason they do this is because there is no other cable co around except satellite and their reception is not to good. He then replied well ms we get an 80% return. Well I replied that's only because we the consumers actually have no choice.

Not trust worthy poeple...

In late October, 2006, I sent in a ps2 to Sony for a repair. They sent back a different unit that stopped working. On November 22, I sent it back again. I called on December 4 to check the status of the repair. The rep at Sony told me they did not have it, so I tracked it and found that it was received. I called Sony back and read the tracking number and confirmed that it was received. After being put on hold for a long period of time, the rep told me a technician would be calling back within two days. I did not receive any call. I called Sony three more times and they were all the exact same phone call. They did not have the item, I gave the tracking number, was put on hold for a long time, a technician would call back. Finally on January 4, I received a package form Sony only to find that it contained a ps2 that was broken. The screws were loose etc. and of course it did not work. AGAIN, I had to call Sony and asked for a supervisor. I told him everything that happened. He was no help at all. He said to just send it back for repair. When I told him I did not think it was fair that I should have to pay for the shipping since they sent me a different unit probably one that belonged to someone else that obviously wasn't fixed, he just said send it back and yes I am responsible for shipping if I wanted the unit fixed. I called back and spoke to another supervisor who said the same thing. That I would basically have to pay for a mistake that they made. So now what, Do I waste time and money again? Should I trust that Sony will exchange or repair this unit? Or should I just buy another game - and it will not be Sony.

Illegal!

I took my laptop into Circuit City after I spilled water on it. They took it apart and looked at it and told me all that I could do was buy and new one and throw the one I brought in away. They told me that the battery, hard drive, memory were all ruined and that I could not get anything off of the machine. I am typing from that machine. My boyfriend cleaned it with distilled water and dried it. It works perfectly. I ruined nothing. Furthermore, they told me that to throw the computer away in my household trash! That means that they advised me to throw away heavy metals (severe pollutants) into my local landfill. That is illegal! When I asked if they had any recycling recommendations they looked at me like I had 3 heads.

Here's my story! Bought 2 phones (over $300.00) and surprisingly I did receive them 1 day before Christmas Eve, but they were NOT UNLOCKED as advertised. One phone was supposed to be a Sliver L7 with MP3 player. It did not have a MP3 Player. We spent more money to have them unlocked so kids would have a Christmas present....at least something to open... Chargers did not work either. CUSTOMER Service - there was none! I emailed several times and tried to contact them. No luck. So, I left negative feedback and then he left his slanderous comments for me. He uses the horrible negative feedback for leverage so you will want to do a mutual withdrawal and then it will not affect his feedback. If you have been scammed by Zoom cell, do NOT agree to withdraw your feedback!!
