Scammed by a Wedding Photographer

This complaint is against A Beautiful Memory Glamour Photography located in Sacramento, Ca. and owned and operated by Tracy Lindstrom. The following is a summary of the situation written almost one month ago today-so approx Oct 16, 2006.

The seller and I had an agreement to shoot engagement photos and bridal portraits on Friday Sept 8th,2007. The seller cancelled and we agreed to reschedule. The last contact I have from the seller is an email dated Sept 12, 2007 stating to let her know when I was ready to meet. I have since emailed her at least 7 times (all of which I have a copy of) and left 2 phone messages. As I have
stated, I have received no contact from the seller for approx. 5 weeks.

This is totally unacceptable to me and I demand something be done. I thought I was doing the right thing by creating a dialouge with the seller so that I could trust her. I asked Tracy numberous times in my emails if everything was okay, I got no response so what am I to think. All I wanted originally was a nice engagement photo session and a reasonable wedding photographer. Now all I want is a refund. I wanted my wedding to be a special day. I am disgusted that someone who calls themselves a professional with 15+ years experience would conduct business this way.

This is the complaint I sent to paypal and also the BBB. Since this has been done, the owners husband has contacted me through his wife's email and agreed to mail a refund Monday. We live 50 miles apart and I have no refund yet. I have since emailed him twice, no repsonse.
