Sony credit card is a scam

Company: Chase Credit Cards
Address : PO Box 9100, Des Moines, IOWA 50368, United States

One of my friend told me about Sony Credit card. He told me that interest rate is also very low compared to other credit cards and also various facilities are being provided by them in options. So I decided to have it. I am using Sony credit card since last 5 years & enjoying all its facilities and never faces any problem.
One day I have a Sony reward's card through chase. I used one of there promotion's and transferred a large amount of cc debt to this card locked at 3.99% for the life of the balance. As I told your before also I've had this card over 5 years and never once have I been late on a payment. But I get my statement this time and the whole things at 12.49% so I called them and they tell me it was because they received my last payment late. On confirming on this issue they reply me back saying that your due date was on 7-6
And the received it on 12-8. I explained them the only way it could be late is that it got lost in the mail. On the other hand if I was late, one time, in 5 year's, and only two day's. That's not the way to treat a valued customer. In he last five years period the most interesting part is they didn't charge me the fee for being late, nor is it on my statement.
It seems like they didnt want to honor the APR too me. So please all of you be aware of such thing as it was my own experience.
