I will never order from Figi's.com ever again.

I had ordered for a Hush-A-Bye Bear for my 4 year old niece and a NFL Snowfan ornament for my 12 yr old nephew who is a NFL
fan. I had ordered these gifts for Christmas. They charged my account the same day. It cost me around $20 including the shipping and handling. I told them that I wanted delivered anyhow before Christmas. They said that it would be delivered within a week or two. I agreed as Christmas was 3 weeks ahead. It was almost time for Christmas I had to leave for my brother's place. The gifts I ordered for from Figi's.com had were not yet delivered. I called them up. They said that the order was already shipped by UPS. I called them up and they said they had no such order with them for shipment. So I called Figi's.com again and they said that it has not yet been sent as they are out of stock. They said that it would take just another week. I got frustrated I asked them to cancel the order the agreed and said that my money will be credited within a week. Well it has almost been a month now and they haven't credited. I had to buy gifts from another shop for my nephew and niece. I will never order from Figi's.com ever again.

My son sent me flowers and pistachios for my birthday from Figi.com. I set the plastic vase that had the flowers attached inside (the flowers were all stuck on one metal rod that went inside styrofoam with white shredded paper wrapped around it) on the table and it was the cheapest looking flower arrangement that i'd ever seen outside of Walmart. They're supposed to be silk but look plastic. The vase was advertised as molded but when my son sent me the url for the online catalogue you don't see how cheap it really is. The whole thing probably weighed six ounces and was a big disappointment. I've never complained to my kids when i receive something in the mail from them because, it is after all 'the thought the counts' but when i realized that Figi knows that the person who is sending the gift will probably never see it then they've taken advantage of them--that's the only way i can figure out why they'd send cheap crap like that! So, I decided to let my son know exactly what he was paying for. He told me that he'd spent $25 on it and i was appalled that this cheap thing cost him that much. I told him i was going to contact Figi and i did. I sent an email that was never answered and in it i told them that at a garage sale it probably wouldn't be bought for over 50 cents. I waited four days and contacted the service department and they said my son had been credited for it. I called my son and he said that they had credited his card for 20% so he got $5 back. I never received any apology or was asked if i'd like to get something else instead. My son said that they usually order over $200 in Christmas gifts for the campground that they run but that they'll never order from Figi again. i guess they must really do well somehow because they don't care if their customers are satisfied or not.
