In Nov. of 2006 I purchased an item totaling over $400.00 from Bargainspotonline.com, and was promised delivery before Christmas. I was lied to every week until the 18th of December being told the item was shipped, when in fact it was not. on the 18th of dec. i was told it was lost and they would not get another shipment of the item until jan 20, 2007. i told them if they could not deliver before christmas to cancel the order, and i would purchase the item elsewhere which i did and told them to refund the money to my credit card. i was promised that it would be done. all that happened was more promises and more lies, ands no refund to this dayexcept they told me again that the item was shipped the previous week and this time it was damaged and returned to them. the very same joker that promised to credit my account.
bargain spot charged my card and sent me an e mail saying the item was back ordered the very next day, wheras reputable outfits do not charge your account until the item ships,
Pay Pal also deserves to get the heat also, they give you 45 days to make a complaint, when these chumps stallyou out for months. Then Pay Pal says "sorry" i believe they are only out to help the businesses only.

Terrible; even worse than terrible.
I bought a simple 85 dollar ice cream machine and I never received it. The order was made SEVEN months ago as a Christmas gift... which never came. BSO did, however, charge my card instantly.
The order is still listed as "pending"...seven months after purchase!?!?
The purchase was also over billed.
To this date I have received no reply to my e-mails, and all my discussions with CSR staff have been in vain. The CSR's are trained to stall until customers lose interest in claiming their items. Bargainspotonline.com doesn't deliver... they mislead, lie, and commit fraud more often than people know.
The owner must have watched the movie "Boiler-room" too many times. I sincerely believe that, like in the movie, they will be caught eventually... but how many people have to be screwed over?? We must speak out!
I cannot trust anything regarding this company. Their telephone number is also a local number, so its always a long distance call for online shoppers. The amount of time I have spent on hold is ridiculous. I implore anyone who reads this to avoid using this disreputable farce of an outfit. Buy from well known sites. The couple of bucks you think you're saving are irrelevant to the sure turmoil, and utter disappointment you'll feel after dealing with these lowlifes. In retrospect, I would deal with anyone above Bargainspotonline.com. I paid for something I never received, and it was not an honest business mistake.
B.S.O calculates the percentage of people who will not follow-up on truant orders, and depends on that for profitability... and the manner they deal with those who do complain and contest orders is absolutely deplorable. If I can redirect someone from shopping at Bargain Spot online, then I've saved at least one person from the troubles I've gone through.
