The DJ was scheduled to arrive at 5:30pm to set up at our wedding reception for a 6pm start time. He arrived at 6:45pm and didn't start playing music until 7:15pm, as he had to arrange the wires for the sound effect even after all this he was just wasting time talking to all of them and thus disrupting the dinner proceedings. He claimed he had a flat tire. However, there was no spare tire on his vehicle when he finally arrived. So when one of our friends called up he heard that the DJ's father died and he was at the hospital. She did not offer any help in the form of a backup DJ, and told us to wait. She did not apologize. In fact, she threatened that if we did not pay the balance of the funds, the DJ would not play any music at all. And, she lied about the DJs circumstances. In addition, the DJ brought an assistant to the wedding. This fellow proceeded to help himself to alcohol at the bar, and by the end of the evening, was drunk and approaching guests inappropriately. Further more, the DJ played the one song we asked him not to play YMCA on our request form. A few days after the wedding, I called to tell her how unprofessional her service was. She finally apologized; she would not propose any solution to our problems with her service. I am filing this complaint because this DJ Company did not fulfill the contract that was agreed upon for this service. They provided an inadequate, unprofessional service. They were also dishonest. WE WENT THROUGH A STRESS FULL WEDDING. Do not use this DJ service, they provide an extremely unprofessional service.
