I have two cars and both are registered to me as handicap in the County. I have plates on one car and a hanging tag for the other car. The apartment complex where I lived put me in a handicap reserved parking space. Everybody in the complex knows the two cars I own. Parked the car Sunday night in my spot and put the hanging tag up. The tag apparently fell down. Somebody in the complex called to have it towed. Now this is the same towing company I dealt with for 10 years and have had those towed illegal cars out of my spot. The next day when I went to get the car and showed them the tag that fell on the floor I was told that instead of $100 cash they would only charge me $50 cash to get my car. This very same situation happened to one of my mom's friends and the place didn't charge her. When I tried reasoning with the guy he wouldn't reason and made me still pay the $50 cash. I am in the process of filing a BBB complaint. Hopefully, they will see that my car was legally parked and refund me the money.
