Insecure service!

In November 2003, I signed a 2 year deal with Freedom Security Systems to monitor my home burglar alarm. Apparently, there is a 90 day cancellation requirement prior to the anniversary of that contract otherwise it automatically extends for a year. This was fine print essentially designed to rip off consumers. In October of 2006, I notified them of my move to Washington. They convinced me to have them continue to monitor my house in Washington, however, they never came out to install so in December of 2006 I once again asked them to cancel my service. Since then, they have continued to charge me $25 per month and refused to cancel my service. I have written 4 letters and made numerous phone calls, spoke with "supervisors" and never have actually made any progress. Today I got a collection call from them.
All I want is to cancel my service. They won't let me.
