Scammed/Fraud

Company: Morgan Funding, Corp
Address : 26 Journal Sq, Jersey City, New Jersey United States

URL: www.morganfundingcorp.com

Worked with 5 different employees throughout the process of the loan. i was told that to bring the mortgage payment down we can refinance with an interest only loan for 5 years at 2.5. i was informed that the principal will not go down. at the end of the 5 years it will still be the same amount that was borrowed. i just noticed while picking apart the mortgage statement that i have an ARM with a pick a payment. my principal balance is now 5000.00 more in just 5 months. i called morgan funding. they said they see how there could have been a miscommunication. there was no miscommunication. someone had warned me about then negative amortization. i asked over and over again and was reassured no negative amort. the rep said to get out of this mess i would have to refinanced at a fixed rate. he said i would have to pay a prepayment penalty and of course closing cost. he never attempted to take responsibility for the lies. the 5 people that i worked with have all left the company. please help stop these people. its now two weeks since i have noticed this problem. i have to sell the house to get out of this mess before the negative amortization puts us in the minus.

Nothing I could do about returning the packages

Company: Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals
Address : PO Box 42635, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242, United States

I am a veteran English teacher and had never ordered off the internet before, but because Berkley's commercials and ordering website appeared both professional and with high standards, I decided to order two free samples one of each product offered on both the television advertisement and the website. I carefully read the instructions, but within weeks I was charged $140 w/o my permission. I have never ordered anything off the internet, but as a veteran English teacher, I though I was quite capable of reading and comprehending both the instructions and the requirements for obtaining free samples of two of Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals without binding myself to some contract or agreement. The television ads and the Berkley website appeared quite professional and legitimate, and as I filled out the forms to receive two of their products, I believed I felt assured that I was not getting myself into scam. The last page of the website application showed that I was being charged to my debit card account $4.99 for shipping and handling. At no time, did I come across a statement that said my account would be automatically charged a $70.00 fee. I printed out the invoice and tucked it away somewhere and received the samples soon after. After taking the products for a few weeks, I discerned that they were not effective and would not be requesting a regular monthly order. Just days after making this decision, I received two boxes that stated that I could not return to sender. When I pulled up my debit card account on my computer, to my horror there were two $70.00 debits to my account. So I called them, it was when someone finally spoke customer service rep. said that there was nothing I could do about returning the packages and I would not be reimbursed my $140.00. now I am in a fix what to do and how?

No real service!

Company: Official Hotel & Resort Guide
Address : 500 Plaza Dr, Secaucus, NJ 7094, United States

I am a administrative support person for a large hotel. I received a suspicious-looking invoice from this company. Upon presenting it to the controller and director of sales, both said we had never purchased advertising space in anything by that name. The amount of the invoice was $349.50, and it had very few other details. When I called the number on the invoice to request a copy of the signed contract and copy of the advertisement, I received a grainy message stating, Thank you for calling Official Hotel and Resort Guide. Our call is important to us, but all our representatives are currently helping our other customers. Please leave your name, number and a detailed message after the tone. I left a message requesting the information, but did not receive a call back. In other large companies, invoices like this may fall through the cracks. A check would be cut for $350 and sent off, when in fact, no real service was provided.

Poor ethics..

Company: Money Saver
Address : 8111 Lagrange Rd, Louisville, KY 40222, United States

I had done my graphic designing from one of the reputed institute but now I had to look out for a job. As I was fresher I got this job in this company with difficulty. I did not have a contract with the company. But my very first experience in this company made me learn a very hard lesson. I was to provide a coupon booklet. One of those that I'm sure everyone gets in the mail at some point. Company was given a hardcopy as well as a disc after I made numerous updates. They kept changing the information to be in the booklet. I was to be paid $250.00 for said project a month ago and have not been paid. Company says I did not make updates to disc, however I have the file I burned on my PC and it is indeed updated with correct information. Company also says when they sent the file to be printed; they were overcharged due to errors with my file. I was told I would be sent a copy of the Printer Specs; however I have never received anything. After looking up this company on the BBB site, I see they have had 7 complaints against them. I am screwed in that I did not get a written contract with the company, but I will try and tell as many people about their poor ethics as I can.

Company: Overture
Address : Overture Services Inc., 74 N. Pasadena Ave., 3rd Floor, Pasadena, CA 91103, United States

This company so called Overture is one of the known company but a total scam. This is a fraudulent company and I have faced it. This company is available to anyone who wants to advertise on the internet. I signed up with them, when I was trying to start a new business. The business did not take off, so I canceled the web page they created for me. My web page is still on the internet. I email every month to tell them to return my money & get no response from them. This has been going on for 6 months. Because I thought they would stop taking money out of my checking account, I have been overdrawn every month at the bank. That means I have to pay $30.00 overdraw payment to bank each and every month. I live on SS alone. I can not afford to keep paying for something I have no use for, and that should have been canceled 6 months ago.

After purchasing a new apartment from my dear friend we decided to change the flooring as it appeared very fade out. I searched for the best flooring at many places and decided to purchase from this company. I bought flooring from ifloor.com and the wood was horrible. The finish had bubbles in it and it was all scratched up. We requested an inspector to come out to look at it. He never showed up and ifloor.com told me that I had to pay for it. It looks like I losing $5,200 and no warranty to back it up. I called ifloor.com and no one seems to know what they are doing and I have had this bad flooring for 3 months. This was the worst mistake I did of choosing this company to frame my floor. Don't buy from ifloor.com they don't deliver the goods they promise. Complete wastage of time

Company: Edgewood Marketing
Address : 820 N Orleans St, Chicago, IL 60610, United States

Sometimes in life you tend top do some mistake and can never forget, this was one of the mistakes I did that I dealed with this company. I had a very disappointing experience with this company. First of all, I have a BA in Advertising and a lot of experience in the field, so I can usually spot a company that isn't quite sure what advertising means. I'm here to let them know advertising does not mean selling coupons door to door. I didn't get as far as some others filing these reports did in interviews because at the initial meeting, I noticed that their office in Chicago was in a basement, their receptionist was calling others right in front of me for the same position I was applying for and when I did meet the guy in charge of hiring, he couldn't seem to string together a coherent explanation of what Edgewood actually did. It's a complete wastage of time just simply stay away.

I am very upset about all of this!

Company: Blacksonville
Address : 435 Clark Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218, United States

I was a fresher in starting my business to give a boost up I decided to take help from this company so that it develops my new emerging business with a brand and marketing campaign to set my sales in motion. As a kick off campaign in 2 areas of marketing that we were doing. They never were at the meetings or on time and they did not finish anything we had hired them to do they also did very poor quality in what we did see. One thing that is of major concern to me and the main reason I am reporting is the postcard campaign that I was launching for a military field bag that was to go at a certain time and was but off so they could make deadline on 3 separate occasions. And we never did get them in time for the mailing campaign with a major school effort for a care package campaign in fact they were give to me the day I came to their office to see what had transpired and were placed in my car trunk. They have 6 major mistakes and were in print with out an okay from me for final approval. They refused to replace them or make any corrections I had paid in advance for them and they were the ones they did not deliver on time. I also was told that they were holding pictures of my cases that we sell exclusively for a demand of payment for my web site that they failed to have up and running as agreed by a signed contract. They did not return calls and they were the reason I lost a new account a major account. As well as marketing that I was unable to do because of the web site not getting done as contracted. I am very upset about all of this and want to get new postcards and or my money back.

Poor innocent babies are little bags of money...

Company: Adoption Facilitation Services Aka Adoption
Address : 25935 rolling hills rd., Torrance, CA 90505, United States

These people are the ultimate con artists in it for the money and not caring how they affect others lives. Beware and steer clear of them. I have even talked to others who said the same also an adoptive mother who told me how they don't follow there contracts and scam the birthmothers! All they want is money off these babies! They are the sickest, sleaziest people I have ever met. They are just treating these poor innocent babies as little bags of money. This service cannot be trusted and told us they would do anything to get us to sign. These people, who work for Adoption Facilitation Services, scammed me and my husband big time! They told us we could meet a family and if it didn't work out go home. That wasn't the case at all; when we wanted to leave they said no and trapped us in California, saying they have too much money invested into this. They also blackmailed me with my daughter who was a year old saying if we didn't sign adoption papers on our twins that they had her. Now you can judge yourself what business are they following?

Very Disturbing Experience!

Company: Teddy Bear Adoptions
Address : P.O. Box 232471, San Diego, CA 92023, United States

URL: www.tedibearadoptions.org

I and my best friend both had a problem of not conceiving so after a long treatment when my reports came negative I decided to adopt a baby. My decision also provoked my friend to do the same. We both visited this company to adopt a baby but we soon learnt that this company is not a responsible company it gave out referrals of children who couldn't be adopted, only they didn't tell us until we got to Vietnam! We would never recommend this agency. It was not only we who faced this problem but there were many other families who went through all this. They don't take responsibility for anything as according to them nothing is their fault. They also do not like to refund money. The State of Florida is revoking their icense, but it doesn't matter because they are licensed in Georgia too. Trust me do not fall in to emotions and go to this company for adoption as it is not a correct company.

SPAM!

Company: E Market Research Group
Address : 14545 Military Trail #189, Delray Beach, Florida 33484, United States

About few months ago I started receiving massive number of SPAM emails daily. I use to receive 10 to 20 emails daily. I reported them to the General Attorney in Florida. I also reported to them and many other agencies. I also contacted their office many times to remove my email from their SPAM avidities. They claimed that their email campaigns are permission-based; I argued that I never sign up for it anywhere. I asked them to get me their affiliate's info to prove that I did sign up for it guess what they never did their SPAM campaigns stopped after one month of threats and stress. I learnt my lessons that this company was one of another scam operation and that I was fallen in to it. Then again I received more than 20 SPAM email sending out the same messages they sent before. I have contacted an attorney in Florida and she has accepted the case. My advice to all of you out there is to save all email traffic and communications between you and this operation.

Cons

Company: Cintara Corporation
Address : 25 Post Street, San Jose, CA 95113, United States

I am a small man and work hard to earn my livings. While working with this company I was commissioned to do a project by Cintara Corporation last year. The gentlemen who offered the project were both senior managers, including one corporate officer. I completed the project on time and apparently to everyone's satisfaction. When I submitted my invoice I received no payment. Subsequently, I have placed several phone calls, sent several emails and did all I could to facilitate payment. I was more than patient, trying for a couple of months, before I hired a CA lawyer to correspond with them. To no one's surprise, no response. The CEO, told me over the phone that the project was not approved by her, thus she had no intention of paying my invoice. Naturally, this information was never conveyed to me by anyone at Cintara. Assuming she deigned to read the lawyer's letter, I am sure she assumes that a man from Illinois is not going to travel to California to sue a corporation, and she's right. I'd spend more money traveling than I stand to collect. I am concerned that others who use your website might look at Cintara for marketing services work and be unaware of Cintara's bad faith bargaining, theft of services and fraud. I believe they should be warned.

Rip-off guys should be in jail

Company: QC Unlimited
Address : 4711 N Brady St, Davenport, IA 52806, United States

I was telephoned with the opportunity to advertise my company with other Chamber of Commerce members. My company advertisement was to go on magnets with Emergency Phone numbers for the village. I not only did this for one town, but I paid twice and was doing the advertising for two surrounding towns. So I paid $549.50 twice. I paid over $1,000.00 for advertising and received nothing. When I called their phone number looking to see when my magnets would be arriving, I found out the number was disconnected and the website was gone. I was taken and I am very mad that people can do this and take our money and the Better Business Bureau will not help. This is very wrong. I want to get my money back and the rip-off guys should be going to jail.

I was mistreated in a very unprofessional manner without any respect

Company: Vera Aguilar
Address : 14415 Chase Street, Panorama City, California 91402, United States

I received dental service at Dental Plus California (address: 14415 Chase Street, Panorama City, CA 91402; telephone 818-830-9050) on Monday, June 25, 2007. I went there as this dental facility was referred to me by my insurance company, Delta Care USA insurance. It was my first time to visit this facility where I only expected to receive an initial assessment of my teeth and dental cleaning. But in addition to that I received other additional treatment which I had not expected. During my visit I experienced undue disrespect and the exposure of my private medical information about my medical history and other personal information (such as my employer) by the office manager, Vera Aguilar, in front of my friend, another office manager (Nancy Ballare) and other employees, all of whom did not need to hear about my medical history. Vera Aguilar uttered my personal, medical history more than two times while I asked her about cancelling my dental care plan and stopping of a financial plan by their credit company. Now, please let me explain the reasons why I'm writing this. And I hope that someone will follow up my complaint with proper justice.First of all, I do not feel that their way of treating patients is professional. I arrived at their office for a ten o'clock appointment a little after ten o'clock and had to wait in the waiting room, in the x-ray room and in the procedure room for a long time. I had not planned on staying there for a long time without having the chance to have breakfast and lunch; actually the doctor started treatment after 1pm and I left the dental office at 2 pm with numbness in my mouth and on my tongue, which remained until 5pm though I was told it would wear off in 30 minutes. During the procedure, I noticed that the dentist (Dr. Irina Shahinyan) did not have a well-cooperating assistant. When the doctor assessed the condition of my gums, she had to repeat numerous times the measurements taken around my gums to her assistant who could not record the measurements on the paper. But the doctor did not tell me what she was doing. She kept on poking into my gums repeatedly and hurt me, while her assistant failed to write down the measurement she gave to her. Therefore, the doctor had to get the paper from her assistant and write down the measurements by herself. During this time, papers passed over my face a few times, and the doctor never asked me how I was feeling and if I felt hurt or not while this was going on. Later on, when the doctor numbed my mouth, she didn't have an assistant with her to help her in the room; and so, saliva kept on going down my throat; and thus, I was choking and asked the doctor to do suction right away. Only then did the doctor call for assistance to come and do the suction for me. Then the assistant, Arnold, came and performed the suction, and he left. I began to feel nervous and uncomfortable about the way they treated me as their patient. While I was numb in my mouth, one person came into the room and asked me to sign for financial plan which amounted to $6,525. Due to my nervousness and inability to talk because of the numbness in my mouth, I was not able to think sensibly or ask any detailed questions. I signed where she pointed to on the paper. Then, the office manager (Vera Aguilar) brought other papers to the doctor for clarification of the procedures she was doing on me. She passed the papers over my head to the doctor discussing and asking questions to the doctor without considering my situation while I was lying on the treatment chair. Then, about 1pm, as the doctor was just about to begin the procedure on me, I heard the office manager speak loudly giving direction to the doctor saying that "we are leaving for lunch now; you can go to your lunch after you are done with her.leave everything just like this." I felt disrespected and ignored by such a loud disruption by the office manager while my mouth was fully open; and I was there lying down on the treatment chair. Then, the procedure began, the doctor asked Arnold (her assistant) to fill the irrigation bottle with a specific solution, but Arnold didn't understand the doctor's orders and she had to repeat the same thing three times to him. Then, he brought a white irrigation bottle with some kind of solution in it. When the doctor was doing the procedure I told her "please do not do the antibiotic injection to my gum until I clarify it with my doctor. Simply do a cleaning only today." But previously (before the doctor numbed my mouth) the office manager, Vera Aguilar, told me and briefly explained what I needed to have done on my mouth and teeth as a result of my x-rays and doctor's exam. She said that I needed to fix abrasions and fix two crowns and get the antibiotic treatment on my gums. And she tallied up what the total cost would be, and she told me that I can finance it for 18 months with no interest, and she convinced me to go ahead with it and made me sign without giving me a detailed explanation. I asked her, "Can I just get only a cleaning today instead?" She said without irrigation they could not perform the cleaning. So, I agreed with the doctor and said to her, "do whatever you want to do today except the antibiotic injection until my doctor says okay. During the procedure of cleaning my teeth and irrigation, some fillings on my teeth near gums due to abrasions were performed by the doctor, but I didn't fully understand about this. During the procedure, Arnold assisted the doctor with suction and splashed some water solution on my face and ears and suctioned on my right cheek by mistake but did not apologize respectfully; rather, he chuckled. He did not even wipe off the solution or blood from my face. I endured all these things hoping that everything would finish safely. But to tell you the truth, I was crying while all of these things were going on. It was due to their disrespectful attitude and mistreatment. I was not satisfied with their entire treatment. Before I left, they gave me another appointment time to come in again at the end of the week on Friday. I was barely able to talk due to the fact that my mouth and tongue were fully paralyzed. And I asked them how many times I needed to come back again and how many treatments I needed. They told me two more times for crowns and antibiotic treatment. I was shocked that I had only two more treatments that would amount to the total cost of $6,525. And I left around 2pm. When I came home the numbness in my mouth did not go away and lasted for three hours though the doctor said it would go away within 30 minutes. I called my friend and explained to her about the treatment and cost. My friend said it didn't seem so proper due to such a high cost. I didn't feel well; and I didn't want to go there any more for any more treatment. But I visited that dental office again on the same day around 5pm. to cancel the plan of care and stop the processing of the finance by their credit company for me to pay monthly totally to $6,525. Secondly, they were extremely rude and forced me to pay $1,550 which amounted to the cost of the treatment done on that day (6 partial gum or teeth fillings for abrasions – each cost $195; so $195x6 plus irrigation each quarter side $95x4, which amounted to $1550). If I didn't pay the $1,550 right away, they would not stop the process of finance by the credit company. They told me that if I don't pay I'm just like someone who eats some food but doesn't want to pay for it. My friend and I were asking them to stop finance and to cancel the dental care plan such as the gold crowns and antibiotic injection. The office manager, Vera Aguilar, and another office manager, Nancy Ballare, were sitting with us.Mostly, Vera Aguilar was the one who was talking and explaining what she had done; and she was the one who had received all my signatures as evidence that she did everything right. She kept on saying that because I signed it, I agreed to all treatment and the payment plan. She was very harsh and humiliated me by pointing fingers at me. I was saying to her that I was not fully aware of the cost – item by item, each specific treatment by treatment. And I didn't totally understand about the cost of that day's treatment, because I didn't get an explanation in detail. I only heard that the total cost with insurance was $6,525. I only knew what the office manager mentioned which was the additional cost of the antibiotics; and that was $500. Other than that, she didn't explain to me any specific treatment cost. And I didn't receive any copies of the documents of the treatment plan or treatment performed by the doctor nor a detailed, itemized cost list. I thought cleaning teeth, irrigation and some fillings were covered by insurance, but it was not. I needed to pay all the cost. I asked for copies of the itemized cost list, treatment plan; and they gave me the copies of each one.During this meeting, Vera Aguilar (the office manager) verbally disclosed my personal, confidential information to my friend and other office managers who did not need to know my medical history. And she disclosed this information two times by pointing to my personal information and speaking what was written there on the paper out loud for everyone to hear. It was unnecessary and irrelevant considering the situation; and I felt embarrassed as a result. Anyway, I couldn't agree to the cost, but yet they processed the finance for me to pay the bill. They said I would receive a bill for over $250 on a monthly basis for 6 months from the credit company. Then, they asked me to leave their office right away. But before I left, I got all their names. In conclusion, in my case, what should I do? Is there any possibility of avoiding such a high cost or of having an adjustment made to my bill? Also, how do I forget about their rudeness, disrespect, unprofessional treatment to me? I spent all day long in that dental office and couldn't do anything all day long; and I was exhausted due to the fact that I was starving and in extreme emotional distress. I would like some justice and financial compensation for what has happened.

Company: Hotel.com
Address : 10440 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75231, United States

URL: www.hotel.com

I recently made hotel accommodations at the Charleston Riverview Hotel through Hotels.com. I was told that the hotel was three star and would serve all my needs. But the picture out there was something else. Booking this place was the biggest mistake. I trust hotel.com was a mistake. When I reached, The Charleston Riverview Hotel I found that there was no wash towels, the chair in the room was filthy, the tub was filthy and there was not remote for the TV. I lodge a complaint with the hotel; however, they informed me that I had to lodge a complaint with Hotels.com. So I did. The way the complaint system works with Hotels.com is that they contact the hotel and determine what happened. When this occurred the Charleston Riverview Hotel stated that nothing occurred and Hotels.com sided with the hotel in lieu of the customer. This is not fair at all. I am tired of companies taking advantage of the consumer. This is becoming a normal business practice. Why do we as consumer allow this to happen? I am posting this matter in the scam club and side by side I am also filing the complaint against them. Beware of this site.

NEVER, NEVER use Hotels.com

Company: Hotels.com
Address : 10440 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75231, United States

URL: www.hotels.com

I was referred to Hotels.com by a major airline. I have two upcoming trips to Kansas, Salina and Wichita and require hotels. I specifically requested Hilton hotels for both locations and was informed that there was nothing available. They suggested two other hotels that I then booked. To be honest, they very quickly rambled through an explanation of their policy after the reservation was made. However, I subsequently was online booking another hotel for another trip through Hilton's website and thought I would check on the other two trip dates to see if anything had opened up. I found that there were rooms at their hotels in the locations. I called Hotels.com and asked about changing to the Hilton's as I had requested. I was then told they did not represent Hilton in those locations. I asked that they cancel the reservations they made for me and I was informed there will be a $25 per reservation cancellation fee. I pointed out that they miss-represented the service, not available and do not represent are two different things. Had I known they did not represent Hilton, I would never have booked the other hotels. In short, they told me it was my problem, I miss-understood. The cancellation fee will stand. I asked for a supervisor and was told there was not one available. They would have one call me as soon as possible that was two days ago and still no call. NEVER, NEVER use Hotels.com. There are a MIS-SERVICE to the suckers that use them

EXPEDIA lies to their customers

Company: expedia.com
Address : Expedia, Inc, 3150 139th Avenue SE, Bellevue, WA 98005, United States

I purchased two tickets from EXPEDIA; they never delivered any of the tickets in the timely manner. Later they advised me to take the first trip because they would take care of second trip by contacting Dutch Airlines in Europe. However, when I arrived to Europe, I came to know that Dutch Airlines were never contacted by EXPEDIA. I emailed them wasting no time but never answered my email so I talk by phone but they couldn't fix the problem. I am horrid with the techniques EXPEDIA use to lie to their customers to earn money! Before I leave for trip I receive an email stating that EXPEDIA have released all the information to the Dutch Airlines and I have all information needed for another ticket. They have also given me an reference ID number.
Well, when I reach Europe the whole game EXPEDIA playing caught. Dutch Airlines emailed me saying that they approached EXPEDIA for the information needed for issue of tickets along with charges but EXPEDIA never responded for the email. This could only specify that EXPEDIA never contacted Dutch airline or give information needed to issue tickets but deducted the charges from my credit card. My cc company could release only partial money. Be careful when you are dealing with EXPEDIA.

Northwest Airlines was very disappointing!

Company: Northwest Airlines Flight
Address : 5101 Northwest Drive, J3260, St. Paul, MN 55111, United States

URL: www.nwa.com

On July 14, 2004 my family and I traveled to London on Northwest Airlines. An 11 hour journey took 42 hours. Compensation of $200 in the form of e-ticket vouchers is all that has been offered. Let me tell you in brief. We arrived on the airport checked luggage in. Airline employee assured us we would make it to Detroit with plenty of time to spare before our scheduled departure from Detroit at 09:40pm. So we boarded plane and stayed at gate until 08:15pm. Pilot made occasional announcements apologizing for the delay. During our wait in the plane I asked the staff in the plane if the London bound plane would wait for us. She assured me that with all the other flight delays they would wait. This turned out to be incorrect.Plane finally left.Pilot used his Cell phone to get departure clearance since Northwest's system was still not operational. We arrived in Detroit at 10:00pm. No Northwest staff met the plane. Looked on Departure Computer – flight to London was not listed and had obviously left. Went to ticketing. We stood in line for two and a half hours. We were rebooked on a Delta flight the next day out of Atlanta. Booking employee gave us hotel and meal vouchers and instructed us to reclaim our luggage and take a shuttle to the hotel. 12:45am, we located our luggage. I searched for a shuttle to the hotel. Shuttles ceased operation at 11:00pm. I called Hotel. Desk clerk asked why Northwest kept sending people to the Hotel when they had told northwest they were full and could not honor any vouchers. I located a Northwest employee at Luggage office. He had a list of hotels. Called several hotels and located one room in Belleville, so I gathered up my family and headed for Taxi stand with our luggage. On another day that is on July 15th, 09:30am traveled back to airport. And waited in line for another two hours. Checked luggage through to London, and at last reached London after 42 hours.

Empty L'Oreal makes noise

Company: L'Oreal Line Eraser
Address : L'Oreal, 14 rue Royale, Paris, France

I am just 23 years old but I have started getting fine lines around my eyes and nose. So I bought this product introduced by L'Oreal and I have been using it over 3 weeks. The products from L'Oreal are sold just because of there reputation regardless of how bad the product is..I noticed that using this product has only worsen my skin texture. Initially they were not so visible but now they have become deeper and more numerous. Now I can recognize even at one glance. I didn't had any dark circle at least but now I have them after using the L'Oreal line eraser. I have stopped using it even though I still have 2/3rd of it.

Unhappy!

Company: Beau Jos pizza
Address : 100 N. College Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524, United States

I work in Downtown Fort Collins, Colorado. One of the responsibilities I have in my company is to entertain out of town guests and business partners. On this day I made the mistake of choosing the Beau Jo's Pizza. There were five people in my party that arrived at the same time; we were expecting a total of eight. We were informed by the manager that he would not be able to seat an incomplete party. After standing at the door for 15 minutes, I asked if he could please seat a party of five at a table large enough for eight. We were led to a table for four, with a fifth chair added to the end, in a restaurant that was hardly busy at all. It was at that point that my guests from out of town suggested that we vote with our feet and choose another restaurant. We won't be going back to Beau Jo's, not for lunch and certainly not for dinner. There are a lot of choices in Downtown Fort Collins for dining. If you are visiting Fort Collins, and hungry for pizza, save yourself the frustration and skip Beau Jo's Pizza. If their pizza is as unhappy as their manager, it is sure to be a hard and crusty.

Long back I had bought a finger ring from ice.com, I could only say that it was real fake item I purchased from them. Well, recently I thought of taking chance and buying a pendant from ice.com just because the pendant I saw was very cute. It was a freshwater plum and peach cultured pearls. One thing I like most about ice.com is they also facilitates with there installment payments. This pendant is $125 and five payment of $25. Of course I do not have big cash so I chose for part payments, well,I gave my credit card number and I feel I made mistake. They deducted two payments correctly but then removed money for remaining payments without my permission to do so.There was not sufficient balance even, again my cc company charge over limit charges for same. Oh just get lost of my cc.they charged me more $25 after my payment was done! Do not deal with ice.com they are cheapest site to deal with..Stay away.

Unhealthy employees

Company: MacDonald's Restaurant
Address : 700 N PEARL ST, DALLAS, TX 75201, United States

Yuck... MacDonald in our area is sick and will make you sick if you stand near the counter while your meal gets ready. Few weeks ago, I been to this branch of MacDonald for getting something to eat. I stood at the counter itself till my burger, French fries and salad got ready. Well, whatever I saw was horrible trust me! The lady making the stuff was unhealthy, she had some skin disease and not even wearing hand gloves. So I requested her to wear it and make the stuff or I will just walk out without taking my order without paying. Well, she gave a bitter look but somehow wore the gloves and made my meal. Even I have even heard from my friend about the unhealthy employees working in MacDonald's.

What a watse!

Company: Midwest Resorts
Address : 2537 7th Ave E, St Paul, MN 55109, United States

I recently was contacted a marketing person from Midwest Resorts. I was informed by attending a 90 minute presentation I would receive a $25 gift card and four round trip tickets to any of 26 destinations. I specifically asked if I would be required to stay at any specific hotels and she emphatically stated no. I told her the reason I wanted to be very specific about this was we already own a Time Share and also have relatives in three different states, where we would be able to stay. She said there were no strings attached to the airline tickets. After the two plus hour presentation, when I went to receive my gifts, I asked the woman at desk if we had to stay at specific hotels and she said yes and they were listed in brochure. Some of the destinations we would have to stay up to 14 nights at $250 a night. There were two other women waiting to receive their free gifts and they stated they were given the same information. They flatly refused to make any allowances and then offered us two airline tickets for two night stay at specific hotels where hotel cost was covered. I said I thought we should get four, as they were practicing false advertising. They would not budge and they would not give any of us women the $25 gift card. Needless to say, I would never recommend one of these promotions to anyone, nor would I recommend Midwest Resorts to anyone. I just wish there was more I could do about this than complain, but if it saves anyone else the time we wasted, then this e-mail will mean something.

Bad Choice!

Company: CHOICE HOTELS
Address : 4225 E Windrose DR, Phoenix, AZ 85032, United States

URL: www.choicehotels.com

I made on line reservations for $90.00 per night based on photos and descriptions of the hotel. When I got there I was very disappointed. The room was filthy & it smelled + I did not feel secure leaving my car in the parking lot none the less staying there with my family due to the people loitering in the parking lot. I explained the situation with the desk clerk and he informed me that there is nothing that he can do about a refund. During all this a woman was checking in with a newspaper coupon for $15.00 less for the same type of room. After 15 minutes of phone calls I was told that it was not possible to give me a refund. I explained that I was not staying the night and I want a refund. They would not budge. I refused to give up and called to speak to the manager who said that it was not possible, but I did not give up and kept insisting about the refund, seeing that I was not ready to come out of the shoe he agreed to give me discount and vouchers worth $45.00 for future bookings". I agreed. When I received my credit card statement they inflated the room charge to $135.00 then gave the 50% discount. I immediately called American Express & disputed the overcharge & I was redeemed. Oh! by the way...I never received any vouchers in the mail. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. They should look up the meaning of the word Guaranteed like they state in their advertisements.

Lack of professionalism is appalling

Company: Cliff house inn
Address : 6602 Old Pacific Coast Hwy, Ventura, CA 93001, United States

We pre-booked our room over the phone based on impressions we obtained from their web site. The site notes a private beach, a pool in a lush tropical garden, special ambience, signature service, describing the Inn as the "Jewel of the Pacific". Over the phone the rooms were described as being very nice with ocean views. Based on this description we had actually booked out of a very nice and less expensive hotel in Santa Barbara with the intent that we would splurge on our last night in Southern California and stay in the Jewel of the Pacific. What we found was an Inn in a state of some disrepair located only 50 feet from the noise of the highway. The floor in our room had a significant slope, and the rooms looked generally unfinished with pealing paint, a mirror left hanging at an angle, in addition to a lack of finish, furnishings and accessories which would normally be expected and associated with an Inn charging $130.00 per night. The pool depicted on the web page was in reality far from inviting. The bottom was covered in dirt, the cushions on the lounge chairs were weathered and torn and literally completely covered in bird droppings so that they were impossible to even consider using. There was no one present at the Inn to deal with our concerns. The young woman at the front desk could only suggest that we contact management by email. All in all at this point we gave serious consideration to leaving the hotel, but at this point we were worried we might be charged for the room whether we stayed or not and at that time of night it would not have been an easy task to go and look for another hotel. We returned later that evening. We again asked the attendant when someone with some authority would be present and we were advised "usually sometime between 9:00am and 10:00am". We had an early flight the next day and the next morning we went to check out at 7:30am. We were hoping to at least be able to talk to someone, but found that no one would be available until 8:00am. We waited until 8:00am and expressed our concerns to an employee working the front desk, who turned out to be the sister of the owner. We expressed our concern that we felt the quality of the hotel had been misrepresented to us. She did at least apologize to us and offered that the hotel rate be reduced to $60 for the night. We suggested however, that based on the circumstances we should not be required to pay for the room. It was left that she would discuss this with the owner and if they had any difficulty with this, they would contact us directly. Upon returning home, we found out from our credit card company that the full room rate of $130 had been charged to our credit card. This is absolutely cheating and lack of professionalism is appalling.

I had decided to buy a mail box for my company and therefore I placed an order on the internet in their site the mail box were very good in pictures so I placed the order and send the information of my credit card. I filled a form for the order and soon I received a email that it was confirmed the amount was also deducted from my account, it was written that the order would receive in 10 working days but did not receive at about 3 weeks so I e-mail them because they did not have a direct number e-mail. His customer service was one of the worst I have experienced. He charged my account twice and told me that he would. He was very rude and then continued to harass me by E-mail. The worst part is I found that he was the owner.I reported to Better Business Beau. It's a shame that there are actual people out there that are able to work or own business and treat customer in this fashion. The E-mail he sent me when on for day, until I finally informed him that I would seek legal advice.

I had made reservations of the hotel using this above mentioned travel agency through internet. I was told many good thing about the booked hotel but I found nothing but dissatisfaction as it was not the way it was told. Once I arrived at the hotel on the day of my reservation my wife and I went to our room. The room was on a smoking floor in which we do not smoke. The TV was not working either. I called the front desk to let them known about the TV. I was told that someone would be up to look at it. After about forty minutes of waiting, I went to the front desk to ask about the repair person. Another twenty minutes pasted when I received a call from the front desk to let me known that no one would be coming to look at the TV. Also there were no other rooms that we could be moved too and there were no extra TV's to replace the one that was not working. The person on the front desk told me that they would leave a note for the day manager, to see if we could get a discount on our room for the inconvenience. The next morning when my wife and I went to the front desk, known one knew anything about what had taken place the evening before. There was not a manager on duty to talk too, only the front desk clerk. The desk clerk did not have any authority to do anything about our situation. I was very dissatisfied with the service of the hotel and will not recommend it for any of my business travelers, co-workers or friends.

No one seems to be willing to help us

Company: ORCHID HOTEL
Address : 409_421, YAWARAJ ROA, BANGKOK, 10100, Thailand

My husband and I stayed at the hotel, that we booked online because it was one of the only hotels available and the picture showed clean rooms and the services provided and the price per night were agreeable to us, also it was within walking distance to the boardwalk and hotel were other family members were staying. Upon arrival the hotel lobby was filthy. The main door was disgusting, the carpet was unclean and the lobby was dimly lit. We checked in and proceeded to our room. The glass door to the entrance of our floor was just as filthy as the main entrance door. The carpeting in our room was dirty the air conditioner was unclean and extremely noisy. My husband is heat and air technician and cleans boilers and air conditioners, and said that the air conditioner was very dirty and that's why it was so noisy. Also, it was blowing dust into the air because it needed clean. We did not have access to the television in the room for a day and a half because there was not a remote changer in the room. Before unpacking I call housekeeping and the front desk to ask for a remote for the television. After unpacking and leaving for the evening we stopped at the front desk to ask that a remote be placed in the room. It wasn't until the following evening that a remote was placed in our room. Also, the toilet was noisy, it was constantly running. My husband did remove the lid to see if he could see what the problem was and it need a new bulb mechanism. Finally, we were promised a king/queen size bed they did not have any available upon check in so we had two full size beds, which was okay if that would have changed the sheets. And if all of the above isn't enough our vehicle was accidentally spray painted from bumper to bumper, windows also, with spray paint while parked in the hotel parking lot. The owner and general manager, assured us that they would take care of repairs for all of the vehicles involved but, he is now refusing to make good on that promise. But no nothing was done. We have sent the following letter to the prosecutor of Atlantic City and several other e-mails to. I.e. corporate, customer relations etc. no one seems to be willing to help us.

I will not do business with Sears.

Company: Sears
Address : 1611 Virginia Ave # 50, North Bend, OR 97459, United States

On February 2006, I purchased a Kenmore 27. I was told that the delivery fee would be refunded via a rebate. The sales person completed the rebate paperwork himself, placed it in a Sears' envelope, and said that he would mail it himself. On March 16, 2006, I received a letter from Sears stating that "the refund amount was unable to be determined by the rebate receipt." This bewilders me; all the paperwork was completed by Sears, who else but Sears would know the rebate amount. A friend told me that he had also experienced the same incident from Sears. A search of this site returned over 700 complaints against sears. Where a choice exists, I will not do business with Sears.

Company: Ramada Inn
Address : 1035 N Main St, Cloverdale, IN 46120, United States

My husband and I went to Cloverdale, Indiana for the weekend of 10/13/01. We got 2 rooms -one of ourselves and one for my husband's sister and her husband. We were charged $79.95 per room. The billboard showed a price of $34.99 we noticed as we were leaving. When we originally called for reservations they said the price would be $89.95-which usually means it's a nice hotel.Upon arriving it was $79.95 which was nice; however the rooms were worth about $24-if that. The underhand to the rooms on the first floor was caving in-one spot held up by a bent 2x4. The ceilings were browned due to water damage. The shower curtain was not clean-the floor was not clean in the bathroom. The whole experience at the hotel was bad.The front desk was unhelpful also-we called for reservations and they said they we
