big scam

On 14 Nov a woman came to my door asking me to sign a petition to lower gas prices for Michigan. She was veary insistent and did not seam like she would leave till I signed. She said this would not change my power bill in any way. That it would help lower gas prices for all of Michigan. So as a good hearted person I signed not knowing I was being scamed. Then I recived a call as soon as she walked away asking me if I understood the contract that I never got a chance to read. After I looked the info over things looked great not knowing myself what a Ccf was. But I knew my power bill would come in 3 weeks so I figured if I didnt like the change I could cancel. Well my bill came and it was the same as always that month so I figured all was fine and I wasnt in any danger of a bill increase. I recived my power bill and was shocked!!!! Two months latter my bill was $150 higher and to late to cancel. I called universal and they told me it would cost $250 to not be part of the program. I have sent them letters with no responce. Please beware these people dont care about you only making a sale!!! I was lied to and scamed I am on a fixed budget and couldnt even pay my whole power bill this month because of this increase. This comany needs to be taken down!!!!!!!!
