Check Scam!! I actually got a check!

Company: Total Link Security, Inc. dba DE-Lotto North American Sweepstakes Lottery
Address : 151 Morrison Ave., Toronto, Ontario Canada

Today I received a check from this group, along with a letter in very poor English, describing my winning $125,000.00. The check, for $4875.00, was drawn on the Citizens Bank of Americus, Americus, GA 31709. I Googled the bank, and it does exist. I Googled the company, and they are not listed. That is how I found this site. I called the contact number, and a woman named "Mrs Nicky Brown" answered. I had a very hard time hearing her (afraid of being recorded?!), but she asked for my winning claim number, then she told me to deposit the check and wait for FedEx to bring me the balance. I asked her to speak louder and she hung up on me. I called back, and she rudely said that I had hung up on her.
I assume I'm not the only one that has received this letter and check, but the check really sets it apart from the ones everyone has gotten in e-mail. My guess is it has to do with identity theft with the cancelled check, but I'm not sure. The letter was addressed to me at an address I left almost 3 years ago, which was the first red flag. The spelling and grammar mistakes were typical, and it obviously is too good to be true!
