Shoe Size is Listed Wrong/Can't return w/o pay more money

I bought a pair of shoes listed as size US Women's 10/40 European. They do not fit a US 10 Women's foot! They are really size 9US. In order to return them, I have to pay them another 10.00 dollars for the return, and can only get in store credit. It works out that they get more money in the long run by selling you shoes that are misrepresented as US Women's 10. Very sly. I wonder how many people have been taken by this?
