Soon after moving into our house Chimney Solutions Inc from Addison, IL called us soliciting a cleaning and inspection. Their intro price was considerably less than other fireplace cleaners and we were broke so we made an appointment. The tech of Chimney Solutions Inc from Addison came out on a Saturday and was very professional he recommended that we do a few things which would be $2000 and we agreed to it. He asked for a 35% deposit and that he would order the parts and call me on Monday. He said he was the owner of the company with his brother. Monday came and went without a call so I called in on Tuesday; they said they could not find our information and that they would call the owner and call me back by 4pm. I did not get a call back. This went on the whole week and I stopped payment on the check that I gave him the following Saturday. I called every day and sometime twice a day and received the run-around every time. My bank informed me that the check was deposited the following Monday and luckily I stopped payment on the check. Chimney Solutions Inc from Addison is a scam and they will take your money and provide you no service. Your family's safety is not worth saving a few bucks on the cleaning. Do some minor research and find a reputable company. I am posting this in the scam club so that you all are warned by this company and can simply look for some one else worth while.
