I went to Independence Custom Sound to purchase a flip down monitor for my vehicle! I bought a 15" XO Vision monitor, a fairly reputable brand for $349 plus tax. The owner then provides me with a receipt stating that I have a 1 year parts warranty, the screen worked for 2 days after being installed by myself. Just to clear up the first accusation that the owner stated, I am a professional installer that builds vehicles on the side while managing another Independence business. The screen was dead on arrival, I took it back the next day, accused me of a bad install, and then charged me $50 for shipping and handling for the warranty purposes. The second screen was given to me on site, another new screen and it functioned for approx. 3 days, then the screen in the middle of a movie started displaying colored lines! Since the second screen has malfunctioned, I have not gone back nor do I plan to. They are full of hassles please stay away.
