I was looking for a place where I could get my hair straightened out and I mean poker straight. I went to many places but I was not really impressed or influenced by anyone. Then one of my friends told me about Sloane Square in our neighborhood. I never heard of it before so I went there to check it out. There was this lady who had just come from China. I thought who would straighten my hair the Chinese style better than a Chinese. So I fixed an appointment with her. She could not speak English well but that was not an issue. I did not know that I was making a mistake.
The next day when I came at the time that was appointed she was not yet there. I was told that she would be late. So I waited for her but she did not come. The next I returned and she was not there again but today she came to the salon but a little later. She started with my hair. I told her what I wanted exactly. I had no idea whether she understood but she said yes, yes and began with her work. She promised that it would be poker straight. After he finished I was disappointed because my hair was not as straight as she had promised. After I washed my hair and let it dry, there were a lot of kinks. I will never return there. It is nothing but a rip-off! I hope there are people who can perform the procedure better than her. I doubt.
